From starting time of 6PM on Friday March 24th, 2017 to ending time of 5:30AM on Saturday March 25th, 2017, WIRE helped the fight against cancer. WIRE helped out at Northeastern University's Relay For Life in a numerous of ways. We, at WIRE, raised money as a team with help from readers at home and then at the actual relay, we provided the music. In the fall semester, WIRE had the 24 Hour Livestream Charity event which was to raise money for our Relay For Life team. With a combined effort of WIRE and all of Northeastern's teams, a total of just over $260,000 dollars was raised!

Many events happened throughout the night such as dance performances. There were at least four dance teams that performed and each was wonderful. There was zumba and cardioboxing along with tug-of-war and a three-legged race. Another silly little event that happened were arrests that Northeastern University's Public Safety ran. WIRE even took charge of musical chairs with SpongeBob music and meme music. And of course, there was the luminaria ceremony which was by far the best and most emotional event there was there. It was an honor to be apart of such an event.

And once more, thank you all for helping WIRE, Northeastern University and the American Cancer Society!
