Earlier this month, Mayor Malty Walsh officially declared April 15th "One Boston Day" in remembrance of the tragic Boston Marathon bombings in 2013. It's been three years and the city has only grown in its strength and fortitude. "April 15 is a date that has come to stand for our city's deepest values, and we continue to be amazed by the spirit of the day, in the city, and around the world," Walsh proclaimed.

Come and celebrate Boston's deepest values around the Wentworth campus today. We'll be holding many activities around the campus center, and students and staff are encouraged to wear their Boston gear! For every mile that is walked or run on the Schumann Fitness Center treadmills, a $1 donation will be made to benefit the MR8 Foundation.

In addition, tune into WIRE from 11:00am - 4:00pm this Friday for a One Boston Day Marathon! We'll be streaming Boston-themed music throughout the campus and over the airwaves! wire.wit.edu/listen
