Looking for a new electronic dance music producer? Try marshmello! Marshmello specializes in future bass, future house, progressive house and trap music. He started in 2015 and released his debut album, Joytime on January 8th, 2016, holding ten tracks. Marshmello also self-released Joytime. He has also debuted with Monstercat with the song Alone.  Monstercat, for those of you who don't know, is a Canadian EDM record label. Monstercat does single-track releases so that artists don't feel stuck to them.

With any album, there are singles that are released generally before the actual album is released. Marshmello has three singles, only one of which was actually off the album Joytime. The single that was released from the album is Keep It Mello featuring the rapper Omar LinX's vocals. Keep It Mello was released October 24th, 2015. It peaked at #25 on US Dance. The album itself peaked at #5 on US Dance, #14 on US Heat and #41 on US Indie. A remix of Want U 2, done with Slushii, was released on February 14th, 2016. This remix was released as a single but not an official single of Joytime. The third one, and my personal favorite, is Alone which was released on July 2nd, 2016. This single has yet to have an album but this was the song that, as mentioned earlier, was debuted with Monstercat. Alone peaked at #93 in the US while peaking at #63 in Canada. In US Dance, it ranked #10.

For recommendations, I would recommend trying Alone. Also, the whole album itself is great. However, a few favorites from Joytime that I would recommend would be Know Me, Find Me and Keep It Mello. I wouldn't normally listen to a lot of EDM but I definitely don't mind marshmello. His tracks will definitely get you in the mood to dance! As always, happy listenings!
